چکیده

Abstract Transparent electrodes (TEs) with high chemical stability and excellent flexibility are critical for flexible optoelectronic devices, such as photodetectors, solar cells, light-emitting diodes. Ultrathin metal electrode (thickness less than 20 nm) has been a promising TE candidate, but the fabrication can only be realized by vacuum-based technologies to date, require tedious surface engineering of substrates, which neither ideal polymeric based applications nor suitable roll-to-roll large-scale manufacture. This paper presents high-performance nanostructured transparent formation via displacement–diffusion-etch (DDE) process, enables solution-processed sub-20-nm-thick ultrathin gold (UTAuEs) on wide variety hard soft substrates. UTAuEs fabricated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates show chemical/environmental superior bendability commercial indium–tin-oxide (ITO) electrodes. Moreover, organic cells made similar power conversion efficiency much enhanced flexibility, in comparison that ITO-based devices.

Solution-processed metal nanowire mesh transparent electrodes.

Transparent conductive electrodes are important components of thin-film solar cells, light-emitting diodes, and many display technologies. Doped metal oxides are commonly used, but their optical transparency is limited for films with a low sheet resistance. Furthermore, they are prone to cracking when deposited on flexible substrates, are costly, and require a high-temperature step for the best...

Hybrid transparent electrodes of silver nanowires and carbon nanotubes: a low-temperature solution process

Hybrid transparent electrodes with silver nanowires (AgNWs) and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were fabricated on plastic films by a low-temperature solution process. The hybrid transparent electrodes exhibited a sheet resistance of 29.2 Ω/sq with a transparency of 80% when 6 wt.% of SWCNTs was mixed with AgNWs. This sheet resistance was less than one-fourth that of the AgNW transparen...

Transparent and Stretchable Metal Electrodes

Thin layers of lamellar-forming polystyrene-block-poly (methyl-methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) provide the templates for fabricating nanowires with a “fingerprint” morphology. The electrical characteristics of the nanowires were measured, and largely deviated from simulated devices due to high defect density. Their highly curved conformation makes the nanowires strong candidates for electrical testin...
